PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS. PS 116:15. God bless you and surround you with His sweet peace Lisa. I just went back and re-read your note from Christmas where you were hoping Mike would be coming home from the hospital. I wasn't expecting this. I'm so sorry for your loss, but I'm so very happy for his gain. <3 I bet Charlie is already showing him all around. :) It won't be long Lisa - we'll all be There too! Love you lady and I'm praying for you, trusting the Lord to be with you thru the days and weeks to come and to let you know He is with you and you are not alone.

Dear Liza, Jim, Mary and the entire Davis family. I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I just learned about it this morning. He was a terrific Pastor at True Light Baptist Church, and I will never forget the great times and services that we had there. He was a wonderful communicator of the gospel, and I am sure there are and will be many souls in Heaven due to his ministry. Also I will never forget my 2 visits with you when he was Chaplain at Pacific Garden Mission. My prayers are with all of the Davis family. Liza, the Lord will get you through this -- He is walking right beside you. God bless and comfort you. With love, Becky Weaver
Our prayers are with Lisa and
Our prayers are with Lisa and the rest of the Davis family. Mike was a humble man who reflected Christ in the way he treated others. We know that he would want all glory to go to God and we are rejoicing that he is in the presence of his Savior!
He was a great preacher and a dear brother and friend
I just got the prayer letter from Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission today and learned that Mike had gone home to be with the Lord. I'm sorry for your loss Liza. I never have taken you two off of my prayer list and I'll continue to pray for you whenever I pray for EBRM. Mike and I had some great talks about the Lord and our favorite preachers. I have missed not having him close by and have been wondering how he was doing. Well, I've got my answer, he's doing MUCH better. May the Lord give you grace for the coming days.
