I was 2 years old when Mary Lou was born and as soon as we could both walk & talk, we became friends. Our mothers would put blankets on the ground and we would play for hours! We were close neighbors on the hill outside of HB. Before long, as Mary Lou's brothers & sisters came, there were 7 of us kids hanging out together and boy , did we make some wonderful, happy memories - even some we got in alot of trouble for!  The years and miles have seperated us physically, but our hearts have always been connected. When I moved away, we never lost touch - always a Christmas card with pictures and the latest events of out lives. We just started going to lunch when I would get home for visits. We would pick up just where we left off. She was my friend, my "adopted" sister, and one beautiful loving woman, who adored her family. I will miss her dearly but through the tears, I will smile at all of those good memories. I am blessed to have them, and to have known her all of my life. Until we meet again, enjoy the ride, my dear sweet friend!
