Mary L. McAleese, 81, of Atglen, passed away at her home surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Dale E. McAleese who died in 1987 and Howard M. Rissel who died in 2004. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Catherine E. Miller Pechin.
Mary was an area resident all her life and member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Coatesville.
She is survived by four daughters; Catherine, wife of Walter McCulley of Atglen, Beverly, wife of Ken Brown, Becky, wife of Louie Britt and Dana, wife of Jeff Cox all of Georgetown, SC, two granddaughters; Bridget, wife of Andy Renninger of Lancaster and Nicole, wife of Kevin Shoemake of Awendaw, SC, eight great grandchildren and "adopted daughter" Penny, wife of Denny Panik. She was preceded in death by five brothers; Jack, Kirk, Warren, Richard and William Pechin.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 1pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery. Viewing from 12:00noon to 1pm.
