Mary E. Miller White, 88, of Atglen, passed away on Saturday, August 12th under the care of Harrison Senior Living of Christiana.  She was the beloved wife of Elsworth White, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.  

Born in West Sadsbury Township, Mary was the daughter of the late Paul Preston Miller and Jennie Caroline Dickenson - Miller.  She was a graduate of Scott High School.  

Mary was a beloved member Mt. Zion AME Church of Atglen.  She loved gardening, cooking and was known for her "world famous potato salad."  

She had been employed by RCA of Lancaster.

Mary is survived, in addition to her husband, by two sons: Gregory White, husband of Mary, of Lancaster, and Wayne White of Atglen; four grandchildren, Terrence, Reteasha, Sylena, and Shawn; and eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Carl Miller; several nieces and nephews, friends and a host of cousins.  

She was predeceased by her grandson, Gregory White Jr., and siblings, Charles Miller, Blanche Mason, Dorothy Miller and Albert Miller.  

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 19th at 11 AM at Mt. Zion AME Church, 404 Zion Hill Rd, Atglen, PA 19310 with Rev. Linwood Smith officiating.  The viewing will be held from 9 until 11 AM.  Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Dear Ellsworth & Family:  Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to all at this most difficult time.  Know that God is truly able to give you the comfort and strength to get through.

Elsworth, sending a hug your way til I can deliver the real thing soon.  I'm glad I was able to visit often with Mary and you and to observe your loving and attentive  care as her health failed.  Stay strong.
