Mary Anne Jensen

Mary Anne Jensen, 91, of Lebanon, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon.  She was the wife of Christian P. Jensen for over 56 years.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cloyd L. and Mary S. (McGuigan) Witherow.

Mary was a 1952 graduate of Cheltenham High School and worked as a clerk for Bell Telephone of PA.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Christal Anne (Jensen) Edwards of Waymart, PA, and two grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a twin sister, Mary Lou Kern.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Cornwell Manor Health Center’s Chapel, 101 Rexmont Road, Lebanon, Pennsylvania, 17042. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period taking place from 1:00 PM until the start of the service.

Dear Family and Friends,

"On Saturday, December 2, 2023 I entered the Gates of Heaven being received by the lord and all of those who have gone before me. My past years have been a busy journey. After moving 13 plus times in my life, my final move is the “The Perfect Place.”

As you well know, I love surprises and parties, so surprise yourself on my behalf and go party. Remember “one for me.”

My family was my life and it kept me alive. Thank you family. Love you.

Your friendship has been very special to me, for which I treasured. Thank you friend.
