Marlene J. Mackavage, 76, of Cochranville, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, in Coatesville, PA. Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward G. Sr. and Olive B. Thompson Bell.
Marlene worked as a laundry supervisor for Crown American Hotels. She enjoyed listening to Andrea Bocelli and Michael Buble.
She is survived by her children, Karen Sensenig of Cochranville, Patti (Robert) Smith of Middletown, one grandchild David Boozer (Shannon) of Bowmansville, two great-grandchildren, Jonathon and Isabella Boozer and siblings, Edward G.(Linda) Bell Jr. of Coatesville, Jane Gipe of Middletown, Shirley (Richard) Kinsey of Honey Brook, Carol Messner of Honey Brook, and Robert (Linda) Bell of Highspire.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, Parkesburg. Interment to follow at Glen Run Cemetery, Atglen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
