Marie E. Miller

Marie E. Miller, 81, of Parkesburg, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Harrison Senior Living Center of Christiana. She was the widow of the late Raphael Miller Jr., who passed away in 1991. Born in Atglen, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Findley Large.

A resident of Parkesburg most of her life, she was a 1947 graduate of the Parkesburg High School. She had been employed as a clerk at both the Boston Shoe Store and the Bennington Drug Store, retiring in 1962.

She is survived by her brother, William Large of Parkesburg and was predeceased by two siblings, Ruth Ann Robinson and Joseph Large.

Family and friends are invited to attend Marie's Graveside Service, which will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Penningtonville Presbyterian Cemetery of Atglen, with the Rev. Mark E. Beideman presiding.
