Marian A. Mattson, 86, of Coatesville, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 8th, 2012. She was the widow of the late Lawrence Mattson, who died in 1983.
Born in Salisbury Twp., Lancaster Co., Marian was the daughter of the late Benjamin Lantz and Mamie K. (Stoltzfus) Lantz.
She is survived by her five children, Harvey W. Mattson, husband of Sharon, of Coatesville, Wanda Laird, wife of James, of Kennesaw, Ga., Sharlene D. Mattson, of Parkesburg, Karen S. Spence, wife of Donald, of Jacksonville, Fl., and Barry S. Mattson, husband of Heather, of Airville, PA; 17 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Marian was predeceased by her sons, Lawrence S. Mattson Jr. their first born son who died at birth, Brian Mattson and Jay Mattson; and her nephew whom she raised, Michael Cochran.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 12th at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church of Pequea, 6062 Old Philadelphia Pike (Rt. 340), Gap, PA 17527, followed by interment in the Glen Run Cemetery of Atglen.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing at the Church from 10 until 11 AM.

To the Mattson Family: I am so sorry about your Mom. Time goes so quickly and she will be missed. She was my favorite Aunt. I spent alot of time with her and her family while I was growing up.I am glad I got to spend some time with her at our last October reunion. You are all in my prayers Love Gloria
