Marian E. Steffe Walton, 76, of Christiana, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at her home.  She was the widow of Albert E. Walton, Jr., who passed away in 2003 after they had shared 49 years of marriage.  

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Bertha Phillips Steffe and William Steffe.   

She graduated from the Scott High School in 1952.  

Marian is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kinney of Christiana, with whom Marian resided for the past six years, and Gary Walton, husband  of Mary, of Coatesville; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and one brother William R. Steffe of Coatesville.  She was predeceased by five siblings, Harry Steffe, Daisy Bireley, Catherine Shindle, Josephine Mast and Margaret Brown.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Upper Octorara Cemetery of Parkesburg.  Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held from 12 noon until the time of the service.

Patty and Gary,My heart breaks for the two of you.I've been where you are.If I could be up therewith you I would.I know the Lord will give you His peace,love and strength thru this difficult time.It's rough for all that are left behind.Aunt Marian is now whole and happy with Uncle AL and my mom. Thanks to our Lord we will be reunited with them again and not be sick or sad ever again.Love you.
