Marian C. Kouba

Marian C. Kouba, 84, of Valley Township, passed away at her home on Monday March 22, 2010.

Born in East Whiteland Twp., she was the daughter of the late Julius and Hallie F. Kuntz Kouba.

Marian was a 1943 graduate of Tredyffrin / Easttown High School; a graduate of West Chester State College, and also of Temple and Drexel, where she earned a degree in Library Science.  Marian was employed by The Haverford School as a Librarian, retiring in 1988.  

She was a member of the Great Valley Presbyterian Church of Malvern.

Marian is survived by her two sisters, Audrey K. Townsley and Hallie F. Kouba, both of Coatesville.  

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, with the Rev. Mark E. Beideman officiating.  Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Memorial Park of Frazer.  Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will take place at the Funeral Home from 10 until 11 AM.
