Margaret F. Garafola

Margaret F. Garafola, 88, of Aston, PA, died on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Harrison Senior Living in Coatesville, PA. She was the widow of the late Frank K. Garafola who died in 1972. Born in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Irene Legay Rick. 

Margaret lived in Aston most of her life. She was employed by Scott Paper in Chester, PA. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Chester.

She is survived by 11 siblings; Elizabeth Weinhold, Emily Mauger, Herman Rick, Mary Fulton, Martha Brown, William Rick, Donald Rick, Ruth Strong, Lillian Sarnosky, Frank Rick and Paul Rick, whom she helped raise, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Charles A. Rick, Jr., David T. Rick and Joseph D. Rick.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W 2nd Ave., Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10:00 am to the time of the service. Interment is scheduled for 1:30 pm at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
