Margaret B. Maxwell

Margaret B. Maxwell, 91, of Honey Brook, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Tel-Hai Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Richard S. Maxwell, Sr. who died in 1989. Born in Oxford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Helen V. Wolf Baily. 

Margaret was a area resident all her life and a 1942 graduate of the Oxford High School. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Oxford.

She is survived by three children; Richard S. Maxwell, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Lincoln University, Steven Maxwell and wife Mary of Coatesville, Thomas Maxwell and wife PJ of Coatesville, eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two sisters; Mary Baily and Jane Baughman both of Oxford. She was preceded in death by one daughter Kristin Headlee and three brothers; Joseph and Richard Baily and Donald Bailey.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing on Monday morning from 10:00am to the time of the service. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church of Oxford, 552 Market St, Oxford, PA 19363.
