Mae Elizabeth "Betty" Taylor

Mae Elizabeth "Betty" Taylor, 89, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Hickory House in Honey Brook. She was the wife of John F. Taylor Jr. for over 68 years. Born in Parkesburg she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Lydia Gehring Fox.

She was a 1941 graduate of Scott High School, a member of Olivet United Methodist Church, and a member of the Eastern Star of Coatesville.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, John F. Taylor III, husband of Josephine, of Coatesville.

Funeral services will be held from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 11:00am. Internment at Bellevue Presbyterian Cemetery in Gap. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10:00am until 10:50am. Fraternal Order of Eastern Star Chapter #249 of Coatesville will conduct services at the funeral home at 10:50am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Olivet United Methodist Church, 310 E. Chesnut St., Coatesville, PA, 19320.
