Madolyn (Midge) E. Massey, 92 of Oxford passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Ware Presbyterian Village. Born in West Marlborough Township, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Massey and Esther Elizabeth Mattson.
An area resident all her life Madolyn was a graduate of Henderson High School and went on to obtain an associate degree from Lancaster Bible College. She was employed as a switchboard operator at Lukens Steel of Coatesville for many years. After retiring from Lukens, Midge went on to work for K-Mart in Thorndale, Kern Hardware in Honey Brook, Cropper’s Market in East Brandywine Township and the Borough of Honey Brook.
She was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan, especially her Phillies! She was a life member of Olivet United Methodist Church of Coatesville.
She is survived by her niece; Patricia Vandenbosch of Christiana and nephew; Patrick Moran of Honey Brook.
She is preceded in death by 8 siblings.
Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
