Thinking of you and Gloria
I am so sorry for your loss, Jerry. I have such fond memories of you and Gloria visiting us even back when we were so young and still growing up. We all anticipated and looked forward to your arrivals. I clearly remember Gloria always arriving as like a breath of fresh air and elevating everyone's spirit just by her presence. She will be missed and our prayers are with you.
Aunt Gloria was warm, loving,
Aunt Gloria was warm, loving, and full of life. Her name fit her and she certainly spread a lot of sunshine into our lives.
As we were growing up I was always excited when Uncle Jerry and Aunt Gloria came for a visit. Gloria's presence filled the room. Her energy and passion for life was catchy.
When I think of Gloria I see her face shining with a great big smile and remember her warm hugs. I think of flowers, hummingbirds, and animals, especially Chrissy. I also remember her cooking us dinner on the 4th of July. We had an All-American meal with hotdogs, beans, cole slaw, and chocolate wacky cake, set on a table with 4th of July decorations. I thought she was a hospitality queen and wanted to be like her, making holidays special! Do I think too highly of her? I don't think so.
I do know that she truly cared for us and loved us and I am grateful.
Thanks Gloria!
