Marie, You have our sympathy
Marie,
You have our sympathy and our hearts go out to you. We will always remember "Uncle Fred", as a most kind, thoughtful & friendly neighbor. We will think of Fred and how he would come by our house frequently, riding his lawn tractor to deliver goodies that you had made.
He would tell such vivid stories of his war days, we know he was re-living them as he spoke. It was obvious that he was proud to have served his country.
Fred's loyalty as an Al Jolson fan was unique and he was so thrilled to share his extensive knowledge with others. Fred's love of double stuff oreos was well-known to all his friends. We know he is at peace with the Lord. Let us all hope that we will be with Fred again when too are called home.
Your friends and neighbors,
Mary, Joe and boys
