Frank S. Lusas, Sr., 84, of Coatesville, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor Agnoni Lusas with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Matthew and Anna Lusas.
Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He was employed by the Arco and Sunoco South Philadelphia Refinery as a mechanic retiring in 1996 with 46 years of service.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Rosanne DiFonzo (Mario) of Fork, MD, Frank S. Lusas, Jr.(Lorraine) of Oxford, PA, and Karen Jackman of Kingsville, MD and five grandchildren; Nick, Tony and Monica DiFonzo, and Amanda Rose and Gregg Lusas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 11 AM at the Saint Peter Parish, 2835 Manor Rd., West Brandywine, PA 19320 followed by interment in the All Souls Cemetery. The viewing will take place at the Church from 10 until 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to Saint Peter Parish at the above address.
