Florence H. Scheid

Florence H. Scheid, 84, of Honey Brook, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Hickory House Nursing Home of Honey Brook. She was the widow of Elwood Scheid who died in 2000. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Fred and Bessie Powell Hamill.

Florence was employed as a seamstress for Penn Dutch of New Holland retiring in 1994.

She is survived by nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Peggy Rodgers and Sidney Hamill.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg,PA followed by interment at Pequea United Evangelical Cemetery, Gap, PA. Family and friends are also invited to the viewing from 10 to 11:00am.
