Elizabeth Anne Bristow, 69, of Caln, died at her home on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy C. and Catherine Loughery Bristow.
Elizabeth was an area resident all her life and had attended Coatesville Schools. She was employed by Chester County Government Services in the Housekeeping Dept. and she had also worked at the Brandywine Hospital in housekeeping.
She is survived by eight siblings; Kathleen Bristow of Phila., PA, Ellen Hearn of Honey Brook, LeRoy Bristow of Parkesburg, Walter Bristow of West Chester, Joseph Bristow of West Chester, David Bristow of Oxford, Mary Anne Errington of Rosyln, PA and John Bristow of Phoenixville and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother George Bristow.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10 to 11am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

I didn't personally know Elizabeth, but have been friends with Ellen since forever. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. May she rest in peace!

While I did not know Elizabeth, I knew her sister, Ellen, with whom I enjoyed sharing classes and activities with at Scott High School. I last saw Ellen at our 35th Class Reunion and want to express my deepest condolences to her and her siblings. Though I just recently was informed of her sister's passing, my thoughts and prayers are with Ellen and her family.

while i only met her through several letters, i regret not meeting her in person....i thanked her back then for allowing me to be adopted...i am sure she was a wonderful person...God bless you all in your time of loss.
