Edward Wilson Martin, 81, of Ephrata, formerly of Downingtown, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 10, 2009. He was the husband of Patricia Barry Martin with whom he shared 48 years of marriage.
Born in Honey Brook, he was the son of the late Edward and Anna Mae Moyer Martin. Ed proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Glennons Milk Service as a truck driver retiring in 1997 with 22 years of service. He was a member of the Grove United Methodist Church.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by four sons; Clair Taylor and wife Linda of Vacaville, CA, Michael Taylor and wife Joan of Norristown, Allen Taylor and wife Mary of Delhi, NY, Edward Martin and wife Margaret of Rosemont, two daughters; Virginia, wife of Jon Nestlerode of Douglasville and Alison, wife of Jerry Hadden of Reinhold, 14 grandchildren, six step grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in Edward's name to the Grove United Methodist Church, 490 W Boot Rd
