My Thoughts and Prayers are with the Family at this time. Doc Warner would see me when I needed to be seen even without a appointment. He was a Great Doctor. He was missed when he left the Parkesburg Office. You must be Proud of Doc Warner.
A great doctor
Mr. warner was a great doctor who treated patients of many generations. He took care of my grandparents and my parents, and also my sister and my self. He will be truely missed by all whom he has touched. Our sincere condolences to the family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Dr. Max Warner
I am the son of Capt. John R. Stewart, USNR-ret who died in 1998. My father was a good friend of Dr. Warner -- a fellow pilot and fellow member of the Quiet Birdmen. Reading of Dr. Warner's death makes me feel as though I lost a personal friend, and that my family lost a personal friend, because of my father's connection to him. This is to express my condolences to the family survivors.
Dr. Norman Max Warner
A message to "Sally" from the Mariano family. We were all saddened to hear of the passing of a legend, a great doctor and a very intelligent person. These thoughts are especially held dearly by my mother, Eileen Mariano whom Dr. Warner contributed in saving her life in December of 1975 following a serious auto accident. Doc treated our whole family for many years and we trusted in him one hundred per cent!
Personally, one of my greatest memories of doc was opening his office on a Sunday evening just because I had a badly infected throat (he wasn't happy about doing this but he did it, none the less). Also, during a couple of bad snow storms he rode in from Gum Tree on his snow mobile and opened the office to see emergency patients. He told us on the ambulance, no need to drive all the way to the hospital in this weather, just bring the downtown.
It was special to "trick or treat" at and Sally's home on Fourth Ave. and East Bridge St. Sally was nice to us! Truely a loss for the entire area!
