We offer our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We pray for peace and comfort for your entire family and that you’ll find solace in the many blessings that Dot has provided. She positively impacted thousands of lives during her nursing career while putting herself on the front line well before most of us realized the risks associated with such a profession.

We’ve all been blessed by her sharp wit, soft heart and especially the sparkle in her eyes. Friends, teammates of her children and neighbors, in addition to her family have been blessed with better lives simply by knowing her .

And all of us have been blessed by the incredible legacy of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that she and Joe leave.

And one more thing: This lady could dance! Attached is a photo from not so long ago of Dot raising the roof. Bet she's dragging Joe out on the dance floor in heaven and raising the roof there too!

To the Smith Family

While working at Providence Place, Dot and I had many conversations. She was funny, full of life and had more energy than most. She was one in a million and an absolute joy to be around and had a heart of gold. You'll be missed, my buddy & pal.
