Donna D. Balistreri, 71, of Coatesville, passed away peacefully at her home on Easter morning surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Balistreri with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Graham and Dora Coldren Drumeler.
Donna was an area resident all her life and a 1963 graduated of the Coatesville Area School District. She was employed by the Caln Police Department, in Thorndale for 30 years, retiring in 2006. She was a life member of the Federal Order of Police and a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Coatesville, PA.
She is survived by three children, Richard McBride, Jr and wife Pam, Tami Balistreri-Kirby, wife of Keith Kirby and Michael Balistreri and wife Danette, six grandchildren; Andrew D. MacDonald, Daniel McBride and his girlfriend Danielle Kusnierczyk, Kelsey Martin, Amanda D. Balistreri, Rylee McBride and Jacob McBride and one brother, Robert Drumeler and his wife Mary Ann of Coatesville. She was preceded in death by a brother Gary Drumeler.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Caln Police Department, 253 Municipal Drive, Thorndale, PA 19372 or the Brandywine River Valley Home Health Hospice, 121 Bell Tower Lane, Oxford, PA 19363.
