Donald K. Chocker, Jr., 52, of Lititz, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Lancaster County Hospice Center in Mt. Joy, PA. He was the beloved husband of Susan Vozzella Chocker with whom he shared 23 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Donald K. Chocker, Sr. and Alice Brown and step son to Leona Chocker and William Brown. 
Don was an area resident all his life and 1980 graduate of the Downingtown High School. He was owner and operator of C and V Slate and Copper Roofing Company where he worked for the past 35 years. He attended the Olivet United Methodist Church of Coatesville.
Don enjoyed fishing, boating, rollerskating and his Jeep.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by four children; Denise, wife of Richard Clifford of Lititz, Jason Vozzella and wife Michele of Leola, Joseph Vozzella and wife Angela of Ephrata and Krystle Chocker and husband Joe of Lititz and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.

It was such a joy to get to know you Donnie, You married my best friend in life & you truly were the Best Man We knew. You were there to help Sue raise her kids as she was there to help raise yours. Having a blended family Is not easy It Is very hard work, you never wavered It was as If they were your own & vice versa. You were so strong for all of them from the day We met you. You

Donnie was an outstanding, adventurous, caring, loving, and funny man whom we have loved for what seems forever! We will miss him so much! Donnie will still be around to watch over all of us...Riley especially! We love you all!

I'm so proud that I can say that we have been a family for all these years. I will carry you in my spirt everyday as we gone on without you. Thank you for being a wonderful father, provider and for being an awesome poppop to the kids. We will all miss you so very much and I will think of you every time one of the kids go through another mile stone in life. You were truly one of a kind Donnie, I will always love and miss you until we meet again.

To Sue, Family & Friends:

     There are no words to express the sadness and such great loss at this time of sorrow.  What a wonderful loving man we all lost.  He was an awesome husband Sue, Father and Best Friend to so many of us.  He would do anything for anyone and if it ment taking his shirt off to help someone he surely would.  He has been an inspiration to all of us.  A true Warrior who fought this fight with all his might.  He is my Hero and Friend.  When I see an Eagle I will think of the Wings he has truly earned and when I hear the thunder and see the lightening coming from the Heavens above I will know he is in the front lines fighting to keep us all safe.  I will hold him in my heart forever.  R.I.P. My sincere condolences to the family. I've known Donnie since he was a young kid and always talking to him about things to help keep him straight. He was a good kid needing a little help. We lost touch for quite a few years and when we reconnected it was like we had always been talking. . He had a big heart and a ready smile, willing to help anybody. Love you brother.  I was honored to be his friend and somewhat of a mentor to him in his younger days. R.I.P Donnie. You will be missed.

You will be missed my Friend.  You, Sue and I had some very good time together, eating out, lazing on the boat, just hanging out.  You fought a good fight but the Lord needed you more.  Now you have no pain or hurt and the lord has a very good man and a new guardian angel.  Till we meet again my Friend rest in peace and joy.

Dear Sue, Denise and families,
My most sincerest condolences to especially you Sue! The one who stood beside him the whole way, the one he needed! My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family! May God's healing hand rest upon you and give you peace and comfort in this most difficult time. Having lost both of my parents to lung cancer, as I watched both of them struggle for their last breath, was an unbearable situation. But we all make it through somehow or another!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, Donnie spread your wings like an eagle and soar high my friend! I would say rest in peace, but I am sure Sue will be having you rolling over in your grave with all the stories and memories she will be sharing with you, as she speaks to you each night. It's difficult for me to offer to do anything for you, as I am so far away. But if there is anything that I can do Sue, please let me know! Hey Donnie, fly high my man, fly high!!!

donnie was one of the nicest,,kindest, and fun person i knew...he worked so hard  and everyday he made his life better then the day before.. You'll never know how much I am so honored to have been able to help you during the most difficult time and provide comfort. You will certainly be missed! I will forever remember your smile and happiness on the day you got to see your jeep, to remember our talks while keeping you company.

Crazy how quickly things can change....life certainly isn't fair most of the time, but I'm glad you made the most of the time you had here and you without a doubt touched a lot of lives.  

I appreciate all that you had done over the years, whether for me or another member of the family....it takes a special person to step in and care for others when they don't HAVE to....you just wanted to....and that speaks volumes about your character and makeup.

Thanks for everything, you've touched many lives.....including my own and I hope you know that it didn't go un-noticed.

I miss you so much dad, I still call your phone just hoping I will hear your voicemail, but it's not there. I just want be able talk to you, hear what advise about life you would give me, laugh about things again. Just see your face. No one really knows how I feel. I'm angry dad. I'm depressed, I'm upset, I'm miserable. My whole world came down around me when you left.. I just want to to know if I'm doing the right thing in life, I wanna know if you're right beside me every step of the way, I miss you so much.
