My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family in passing of Darlene. I share in your sorrow as I remember her as someone who was filled with so much Joy. I will miss her smile and how she always greeted me with "Hey Sis", and a big hug. She demonstrated how much she loved the Lord and her family in her daily walk. When I talked to her a few weeks ago she was talking about her all of her many God Children. That in itself is a testamony of what others saw in Darlene as they entrusted her with their children's spiritual growth. Please know that "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal." I know that Darlene is safe in the arms of Jesus, and I will see her again one day. I will continue to keep you in my prayers that God would give you peace & strength.

An Awesome Lady - Darlene
How fortunate I am to have known Darlene. Darlene's genuineness was evident in the way she talked to people, smiled, and had an overall concern for everybody she met. She was poised and professional, yet so personable. She loved life, God, her husband, daughter, her precious grandkids. Family was important to her. She was proud of them and loved to talk about them. I miss her already. I miss her at CHI - walking into the lunch room and saying hello, or on a nice sunny day, sitting out at the picnic tables soaking in the warmness of the sun and getting our dose of Vitamin D. Darlene was a living example of showing the love of Christ to each person she came in contact with. I'm thankful for the time I got to spend with her at CHI. She is a very special lady and she will be missed immensely. I know Darlene would want everyone to find comfort in the faith that she lived.
With deepest sympathy,
Condolence - Darlene Miller
Dear Arnold and Family,
I was very sad to hear from my Mom today about the loss of Darlene. She was a very nice lady and when I was teenager growing up in South Coatesville, she use to do my hair. I was her model when she took her boards to get her beautician's license. I remember she worked so hard in preparing for those boards and the trips to your home for her to practice on me. Afterward she treated me to lunch and gave me a better haircut.
I also remember attending your wedding with my Sister and Mom and her nickname, Biddy, which I knew how she got. I lost touch with Darlene but every now and then I would run into her and she was always so pleasant and had such a cheerful upbeat smile. She will be missed. I'm very sorry for your loss and unfortunately I won't be able to attend the memorial but your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
With Sincere Sympathy, Alisa
A Loving Mother, Wife, Sister and Sunday School teacher
Tyiesha, Arnold and family, I am DEEPLY saddened by the news of Miss Darlene's passing. I am ONE of "many" children she took under her wing at Bethany's Sunday School. She was not only our "instructor", but SHE led us to the Lord. She made us work hard; she taught us to respect our parents AND ourselves. Most importantly, she taught us SCRIPTURE and explained how it was relevant in our daily lives. (I'll always remember our "Dorney Park trips, as well!) She was ALWAYS a sweet-loving, gentle woman of God, whom I WILL sorely miss! I can remember her sweet voice always encouraging me to sing "louder"--telling me not to be afraid. Ms. Darlene encouraged me to ALWAYS do my Best and when I did, had a hug and a smile for me, even if I failed. I owe alot to her and I will miss her dearly. Tyiesha, your mother loved you and your children so deeply. Keep that love with you; for she'll always be with all of you. Love your Sunday School sister, always, Jimell Dickinson (Burgess)
My dear friend
My thoughts and prayers are with the Miller family. Biddy was a great person who was always happy and fun to be with. We had alot of fun in school and I am sure myself as well as the rest of the Class of 76 will miss her. She is out of pain and at peace now and I am sure she is watching over all of us. Thanks Biddy, for being my friend!!!! You will be missed by many.
You have my condolences...
Tyiesha (and family),
My heart saddened when I received the news that you lost your mother. I did not know her very well, but I know that she remembered that you and I were classmates. Everytime I seen her, she would smile and we would speak to one another...and I'd always ask about you. May God's peace embrace you and your family as you go through this difficult time and the years to come. Cherish the sweet memories shared and the wonderful example of Christ's love that she shared with you and those she came in contact with. Your mother had a wonderful testimony...now she is resting, peacefully.
My heartfelt condolences and prayers are with you.

Arnold,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I went to school with Biddy and graduated with her 1976. She was a lovely person and a great classmate.
My friend from a time ago
Dear Tyiesha & Arnold,
I was so sadden to hear of the passing of Darlene. She was my good friend and neighbor when we lived below you in the "old School house" in Modena about 20 years ago. I hope that Tyiesha will remember my daughter, Jenny (Bourne) as you two were friends at that time. I remember your family was warm and kind and wonderful neighbors. Darlene and I would hang wash in the back yard and talk for hours. She was a remarkable person and I know will be truely missed by her family and friends.
God Bless,
Ginger (Wallace) Glassman

She now has a bigger and better job to perform......"ANGEL".
Darlene's pain is over, for others the pain has just begun.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all her family and friends.
May they find comfort in knowing that Darlene is with the lord she has loved and served for so long.
Dear Miller and Cooper
Dear Miller and Cooper families,
On behalf of the Parkesburg youth of the 80's and early 90's, words cannot express what Ms. Biddy has done in our lives. There are fond memories of Sunday School, Choir and the infamous Dorney Park trips. These memories wouldn't have been possible without her. I'll never forget the Sunday school verse memorization and how everyone would want to memorize John 11:35 "Jesus wept." because it was easy. Sunday after Sunday she would tell us that we needed to memorize something harder. She would always do this in her most affectionate way. She had an amazing spirit.
As I grew up, my recent memories of here involved my grandmother, Marie "Reesie" Butcher, going to Biddy's house to get her hair dyed. Grandmom would love coming back from a new hair coloring thanks to Ms. Biddy.
In her short time on this earth she has left a legacy of a lifetime. Thank you Ms. Biddy.

Blessing to so many people
I worked with Darlene for 14 years at CHI. She always had a way being
a blessing to many of her co-workers. She lived the word of God &
was a true inspiration. Her faith & her family kept her strong.
Darlene touched so many peoples lives in so many ways from the smile
on her face, her laughter & her giving. Without Darlene in our lives
it feels more like losing a family member instead of a co-worker.
Our lives have been enriched just by knowing Darlene & the memories
we will always have. My heart goes out to her family. God Bless.
A loss of a dear friend..
I give my condolences to the family of Ms. Darlene Cooper/Miller. Darlene was an all round wonderful person. She was always willing to help and she always had a smile on her face. Also, she always made me feel welcome when I came back to visit after I left CHI to become a stay home mom. My son loved Ms. Darlene...he was always happy to see her...they always typed on the computer together...she was great with him. She was also proud grandmother whenever I came in to visit she was always happy to praise them.... I wish god didn’t have to take such a wonderful person away from us...but I guess he had a better plan for her. I will truly miss Ms. Darlene she will always be in my heart. Rest easy Ms. Darlene...
All my love,
Dianna

Our Beautiful, Kind & Loving Darlene
Dear (cousin) Arnold, Tyiesha, Roban & Darryl,
It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now,
it will be the memories of these little things that help to push
away the pain and bring the smiles back again.
The sorrow of the faithful is not that of permanent loss,
but the tender sense of sadness that comes in saying good-bye for now
to someone we love. May today's sorrow give way to the peace and
comfort of God's love.
God saw Biddy getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes you watched her, and saw her pass away. Although you loved her dearly, you could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Dear Arnold & Tyiesha,
Remembering Biddy with you, the life of someone so loving and sincere.
You're in my thoughts every day Cuz. Please know how much you are loved
and how deeply your loss is felt by us.
I thought I had more time to gather my emotions before visiting Dar. I didn't want to upset you or her by falling apart.
Now I wish I would've gone to see her and cried than to regret not having the opportunity to say good-bye.
The last time I had the pleasure of Biddy's company was a birthday party where we conversed and line danced side by side. Now she's in Heaven dancing with the rest of God's Angels.
Tyiesha, Your mother was someone so special she can never be forgotten.
May the love of those around you, help you through the days ahead.
Words cannot begin to express the feeling of loss
I had the pleasure of working with Darlene for many years. She was the face of the office, always pleasant, caring and looking out for everyone. I will miss her every time I walk through those doors. Knowing that she is in a better place will ease the pain over time.

Our hearts go out to the family. I worked with Dar since 1995. She was truly the best person to go to for guidance on everything. She also had encouraging words and advice for you. You could talk to her about anything.
I feel for the kids as everyone that worked with her knew how dedicated she was to them and her daughter. I would see her at Brian's baseball games routing "speedy" on. She told me how much they all had a great time at Ocean City, MD this year and was looking forward to going back again.
I know that she is watching over her loved ones from above.
Biddy
My sincerest condolences to Darlene's family. She was a very special lady. No one could ever think of Biddy without smiling. She was a dear friend to all of her Octorara 1976 classmates. So sorry to hear of her loss. May God bless her family and friend with peace and happy memories.

God's Plan
Darlene "Biddy" to her school friends will be sadly missed.
Biddy and I went to school together starting out at the Parkesburg School on Strasburg Ave and completing school at Octorara "Class of '76". We were also in Brownies together. I remember her wonderful voice & spirit in Song & Praise.
We don't understand why God takes good people from this earth. God has a plan and He is in control. Rest in peace...you touched many lives.
Arnold, Tyiesha and Grand Children
Your faith and belief in the Lord will carry you through this, for it was God's will that called her to Him.
A good friend called me this morning and informed me of Darlene's passing over. If I had known, I would have been there to celebrate her journey into our Father's hand.
Biddy. I'll see you when I get there, God willing.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of your dear loved one. The time spent with them always seems so short. I'm so shocked to hear of Darlene's passing. I worked with her years ago at Softmart. She always had a warm and graceful disposition.
