Charles Edward Duncan, Sr., 86, of Oxford, passed away on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 at Brandywine Hospital.   

Born June 19, 1934 in St. Charles, VA. Husband of Hazel Gray Duncan with whom they shared 63 years of marriage.  Son of James F. Duncan and Thelma Suggs Duncan. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Norman Noles, sister, Juanita Barnett, and brother, Alvin. Surviving brothers are Albert, with wife, Shirley, of Virginia, Edgar of West Chester, and Allan, with wife, Pricilla, of Virginia.

Charles attended school in Oak Ridge, TN, and Pennington Gap, VA. He came to West Chester in 1952 where he met and married Hazel. Charles worked at Esco Cabinet Co., and at West Chester Borough until his retirement in 1999 after 39 years of service. Charles and Hazel lived in Exton, PA, for 33 years and moved to Oxford upon retirement.

Charles and Hazel attended East Goshen Bible Church, Colerain Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church of Oxford.

Surviving are Hazel of Tel Hai, Honeybrook, PA, daughter, Patricia, wife of Charles White of Parkesburg, son, Charles, Jr. of Coatesville, PA, with his fiancé, Traci Thomas of Wagontown, PA, and four grandchildren (Danielle deceased) and one great-grandchild.

A private graveside service will be at the Homeville Cemetery at the convenience of the Family.
