Cecialea "Cecil" Georgia Abel

 Cecialea "Cecil" Georgia Abel, 95, formerly of Downingtown, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, in Bel Air, MD.  She was the widow of Lawrence Abel who passed in 1976.  Born in Creston, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Grace Price.

She enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, and staying in touch with friends and family. She loved listening to country and bluegrass music and attended the Old Fiddlers Picnic numerous times.

She is survived by her children, James (Linda) Saunders of West Grove, Clifford (Carol) Abel of Parkesburg, Susan (Tom) Kopp of Jarrettsville, MD, Laurie (Ashton) Marshman of Honey Brook, and Step-daughter Patricia (Scott) Hudler of New Providence, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and siblings, Eugene Price of Newark, DE, Daniel Price of Garnett Valley, PA, Christine Garrett of Johnson City, TN, and Nancy Stark of Bristol, VA. She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Wilson, who passed in 2011 and by the following siblings, Clayton, Ethel, Margaret, Dora Mae, and Euceal.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday. November 27, 2021, at 11:00 AM from the Romansville Methodist Church, 1859 Strasburg Rd., Coatesville, PA, with a visitation taking place from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
