Condolences

We send condolences to Carol's family and friends.

Carol is my third cousin, through her mother Kathleen. Though we didn't know her well, (we live on the west coast), she was a lively and lovely presence in family gatherings. We were close to her aunts Barbie and Gudie, now deceased.

Nelson, Angi and family, Carol was a force of nature. She loved her family, her God, her profession and her garden and flowers. The many laughs we shared at work and play will stay with me always. The tears will as well. Vacations in Arizona and Tangier Island were a blast. Her laugh was contagious and sweet. Even though our relationship was through Christmas cards these past years I will miss her terribly. I’m sure she’s taking care of things in Heaven!😇😇😇

Nelson Angie and family. I met Carol as a classmate  at the Chester County Hospital School oh Nursing. She struck me as a kind ,compassionate  person who wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. She was a person who did for others what they would do for themselves if they were able. I guess that would make her an angel on earth. I’m glad I had the privilege of knowing her. May God bless her.

Carol and I were second cousins. We met at Hayes family reunions at the family farms in Embreeville, PA, several times. Carol and I kept in touch a bit and I always enjoyed seeing her at family reunions and hearing from her in letters. She was good about sending along historic family information and I really appreciated it. She was a wonderful person and I will miss her.

I know her family will miss her a lot and my thoughts are with them.

God certainly gained a special Angel 😇 when Carol reached Heaven! She was always a blessing to her patients and a wonderful gift to those of us lucky enough to call her out friend!  We met in nursing school, surprised to find our moms had worked together for years!  God bless you Nelson and Angi as you manage without her, but know you can always count on her to listen and help you through whatever you face in the days ahead….she’s God’s wing man now ❤️ My hope is that all your wonderful memories, love and the support of others will sustain you through the difficult days and weeks ahead!  With my deepest sympathies, Willi ❤️ (Diann Williams Riepen)

I am so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I met her in 6th grade and went on thru high school with her at Unionville Jr-Sr High. She was always sweet, good-natured, and I never, ever heard her say anything bad about anyone!! I enjoyed our short visits at our class reunions throughout the years. I will not forget her warm smile and kindness to everyone she knew or met. God bless you, Carol.

Carol is a sister in Christ who prayed and encouraged others in the midst of the challenges she faced. Second cousins through our Hayes grandparents who were siblings, my grandfather George Passmore Hayes was the older brother of Carol's grandmother Ellen Russell Hayes Schulz. Our mothers, Anne Hayes Berry, and Kathleen Schulz Mast were first cousins. Carol and I met at a PA family reunion in the mid 1960s. Carol, smiling, open, friendly, welcomed us cousins. Over the years we grew closer and shared friendship and prayers. Carol's hope and joy in her relationship with Jesus radiated to those whose lives she touched.
Carol blessed me and so many people. I am thankful for Carol's life, her strong, open faith, prayers, and encouragement.
Thank You, Jesus, for Carol's life in You.

Carol and I are second cousins. Her Mom and my Dad were first cousins and spent summers together at the Hayes family farm, Greenlawn Farm, in Coatesville, PA. I met Carol several times at family reunions. She was a wonderful person and so great about sending family historical information so we knew who our ancestors were. I will miss her greatly. Love to her family.
