Bonnie Ann Charsha, 62, of Christiana, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Joseph G. Charsha, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Ella Elizabeth Conover Sherman. Bonnie was a member of the Penningtonville Presbyterian Church of Atglen.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by three daughters, Lynette Ann, wife of Allen T. Shimko of Lancaster, Vanessa Ann, wife of Michael W. Lambert of Sadsburyville and Nicole Ann Charsha of Christiana, five grandchildren, Kearstin, Kaitlyn, Dakota, Morgan and Ethan, two brothers; Paul R. Sherman, Jr. and Wayne J. Sherman and two sisters Joyce E. Sherman and Dorothy E. Eppley. She was preceded in death by two siblings Howard W. Sherman and Hope Valerie Townsend.
Services will be held on Friday evening, February 11, 2011 at 8:00 pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with a viewing from 6 to 8:00 pm. Interment will be private.

I am so thankful to have had Bonnie for my neighbor. She had a wonderful spirit and was a great friend. I will miss our many phone conversations.
