Beverly Louise Powell, known as Bubbles, of Parkesburg, passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.  She leaves to cherish her memory three children; Robert Douglas. (Dougie) Miller (wife Carol) of West Chester, Dawn Hall (husband the late Edwin Hall) of Hampton, VA, Lenora Darden (spouse David) of Port St. Lucie, Florida, two stepsons, (Pep and Corey) from her late husband, Phillip E. Powell, Jr, and Goddaughter, Lenora Gibbs of Duluth, GA. Bubbles cherished her family; six, grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other grieving relatives and friends.

She was the daughter of the late Norman W. Miller, Jr., and Louise Woods Miller with her siblings, Roger B. Miller (wife the late Phyllis Miller) of Parkesburg, Brenda C. McKinney (husband Roy) of Collegeville, preceded in death Norma Anne Colen of Philadelphia.

Bubbles was an area resident most of her life, and graduate of Octorara High School; employed for over 20 years by the Prudential Insurance Company in Reading, Pa. She grew up and served at the Mount Zion AME Church in Atglen, Pa, and was also a member of the Elks in Reading, Pa. She enjoyed reading dancing & spending time with her family.

Funeral Services will be hold on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:45AM. Interment will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Rd, Hampton, VA 23666 presided by Bishop Dwight Riddick, Sr., at 2PM.
