Condolences

Getting to work with Bev on the CV Drama program was one of the highlights of my time as the director there.  Laughing with her and watching her love for the students were a part of every show, as was her pride in Lindsay.  I am shocked and saddened at this news, and will be praying for her family and the hundreds of students and coworkers who will miss her.

This news has mad me very sad. However, it also makes me remember the good times we experienced at CV. I enjoyed the pictures of Lindsay she shared with me almost as much as the apple dumplings she bought me! My wife (worked in the CV High School Cafeteria) and I sit here tearfully wishing you and your family comfort. May God Bless you with good memories and peace.

I will fondly remember Bev for all of her contributions at CV.  In ISS, she worked with kids who made poor choices.  She was tough, but her toughness was always tempered with the love that she had for the students.  The drama kids called her "Mama" and their relationship was very special.  Whenever I brought my daughter to school, Bev made her feel like she was the most important person.  I always appreciated her ability to make my girl smile.   Most conversations with Bev involved her daughter.  She was so very proud of all of her accomplishments and her culnary talents.

I hope all of the fond memories that you have of Bev will serve as a comfort for you during this difficult time.

Lindsay and Larry, I am so deeply saddened to be sending condolences for my dear friend Bev Robinson. It's very special person was so many very special gifts, Conestoga Valley students can consider themselves among the fortunate for having been touched by this very gifted educator.  Your mom had a gift for working with those students that came to school every day with some serious challenges. She gave them discipline, yet showed incredible compassion and the result Was those students went home eventually feeling a sense of connection, love, importance. Your mom was generous and funny, I will truly miss her as will so many.  I  hope the stories of your mom's help to ease your pain at this time, the stories are seemingly endless so many funny and fun times with her. He rest in peace,  my friend. Love and peace to you and your dad.

I am so sorry for your loss. Lindsay, you and your father were truly loved by this special lady. She talked about you nonstop. She was so proud of you. Her stories were endless. And when she talked about you, the look on her face was priceless. I loved your mom so much. From the moment I started at CVHS, we became my friend. She made me feel special and I loved getting a Mrs. Robinson hug. Even after she left to work at the middle school, whenever I did see her, I got a hug, a huge smile and a wonderful update about you. I will miss her so much. She was beautiful inside and out. I always told her that I'd kill for those eyes. She really was one of a kind...the beat kind. Please know that you, your father and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. And to you God, you gained another angel. Take good care of her. I love you Mrs. Robinson.

I just found out about the passing of a dear friend Bev Robinson. From the moment I started working at CVHS Bev became a very important part of my life up until the time I had to retire due to my leukemia in 2014. I loved the time spent with her and hearing about you Larry and Lindsay and her sisters. I felt I was part of your family. My heart is heavy tonight but I'm thinking of the crazy times we had and what a blessing she was in my life. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time... Please know she was loved!

I have to say my heart is heavy, such a beautiful soul taken too soon. I admit I was a total shit head in school and I spent a lot of precious time (I didn't see it then) with her. She and Mrs. Naples had faith in me and got me through my last two years of high school. Prayers to her family.

My sympathy to the family.  I met Mrs. Robinson when my daughter was in the play at CV, before Kacy could drive herself home.  I'd come in and wait and have a few moments to chat with Mrs. Robinson.  Even in that short amount of time, I knew she was someone special.  She loved the students and they loved and respected her right back!  Memories of her make me smile.  The only thing bigger than her smile was her heart, and it was made of gold.  CV and the parents were blessed to have her working with our children.
Here's a story she told me:
She was pinning a costume on a girl who was going through some personal drama (unbeknownst to Mrs. Robinson).  The girl burst into tears totally unrelated to the costume.  Mrs. Robinson was beside herself with concern, "I'll FIX THE COSTUME, I'll hem it, I'll let it out, I'll take it in, I'll make you a whole new dress!  I'll FIX THE COSTUME!  Don't cry!!"
See?  Makes you smile, doesn't it?  She was a great lady!
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I will always remember Ben's smile and laugh. She had a tough job, but she always managed to smile and build rapport with the students. She was a very giving person. She made a beautiful pillow and blanket for my son, who still cherishes that gift. I will miss her stories and her charm. I am so sorry for your loss.

My heart is heavy as I write this note of sincere sympathy for my fellow classmate and friend.  I will always remember Bev as a gentle soul with a quick wit.  She could have the whole room laughing in minutes.  Bev, rest in peace and delight in the company of Jesus and the angels.

Bev was an extraordinary woman whom I'm glad I had the privilege to get to know while working at CVMS. She always brought a smile to my face while we chatted about our fur babies. She was always so proud to share her daughter's accomplishments. I'm so very sorry for your loss, but I know that she is smiling down and keeping a watchful eye on all of her loved ones.

I would like to extend my sympathy to Bev's family. I never met you, but I heard many stories around the liunch table.  Despite being in a difficult position, Bev always managed to smile through it and take some enjoyment out of the situation.  She will be greatly missed as both an integral part of our staff and as a smiling friend.

My first year teaching in 1993 brings back memories of Bev, especially her warmth and her advice to a young, new teacher.  As it happened, both of our daughters were attending Fulton Elementary School.  Lindsey was older, and Bev readily told me that she would have her watch out for Alyx who was in first grade.  Bev's sense of humor kept me going that first year of teaching and has ever since.  When I moved to the middle school, we lost touch.  Years later she joined us at the middle school and her humor kept us entertained during lunch and got us through the rest of our day.  I will remember her fondly and extend my deepest condolences.  She was a bright, lively spirit and will be dearly missed!

Dear Lawrence and Lindsay,

Please accept our condolences on the passing of one of the most beautiful women we have had the opportunity to have known.  Your wife and mother radiated the true meaning of love and beauty all coming from within her heart.  Anyone that has meet her knows exactly what I am speaking about.  May God be with you both during your time of healing and know one day that you will again enjoy the company of a truly beautiful woman.

I am very sorry for your loss. I, as well as many of my classmates, spent a decent amount of time with Mrs. Robinson. And although we were considered the "bad kids", she never made us feel any different than the rest. Even when kids would be cruel and ignorant, she paid no mind, for she was a strong, loving, intelligent woman and for that I have a tremendous amount of respect and gratitude. She is for sure an angel watching over you now.

i just learned is Bev's passing when trying to reconnect with her. There is a huge hole in my heart. We lost touch after I changed districts- how sorry I am that happened.  I so remember her humor and was blessed she could share it with us during my wedding.  I know how much she loved Larry and was so proud of her daughter. Rest In Peace my special friend. I only wish I had known sooner.
