Condolences

I remember the first time meeting Bart, Heather's dear ole' dad, and loving him instantly. I could see that he had passed on much of his sense of humor and charisma to Heather...and it seemed from then on out I always called her parents "Mom and Pop" Smith. I'll remember his cute smile when he ate dinner over at Heather's when he came for a visit. The sparkle in his eye when he and Heather would talk cars and it was always a fun encounter. Even though life has it's trials and the last years of his life weren't a great reflection on Bart, I will always see him as the loving father, grandfather and husband that I know he wanted to be throughout his life. I am grateful for having known him and will help try to pass on his loving memory to his grandchildren that I know he adored. Rest in Peace, "Pop" Smith.
