I was so fortunate to have know Ted, even for such a brief period of time.  I remember him as kind, caring, funny at times, trusting, and always so helpful.  He always took care of the things that needed to be taken care of.  He was so extraordinarily intelligent and insightful, and he could build and fashion anything, even without directions or plans.  I will be forever grateful for his trust and acceptance.  I miss him being there.  He will always hold a special place in my heart.

Uncle Ted is already deeply missed by Ron and I but we will always remember him. My favorite memories include riding home from the bus stop in his blue van, being at the cabin, Christmas gifts he picked out for us, and the many humorous comments he would make. We were very lucky to have had him in our lives. We only wish we could have had him in our lives for a little longer.

You were the strong and silent mentor. Each project had a vision and you made that vision real. You were so creative and inspiring. I always watched and learned from you, even times when no words were spoken your methods and problem solving abilities were experienced and learned. I thank you for the everything you taught me. I miss you dearly, my days are a little darker now that you're gone but then I remember some of the things you've said and done and brings a smile to my face. Until we meet again Uncle Ted.
