A fine cavalry trooper gone too soon
In the Cavalry we have an old traditional poem called Fiddlers Green. In it, Cavalrymen gather after their time on earth to enjoy eternity. Nick was taken way too soon but we believe he is there at the Green, sharing tales of bravery and excitement, awaiting our own arrival to meet with him.
On behalf of us all, please accept my heartfelt condolences.
Condolences
May you rest in eternal peace Nick! Your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I salute you for your service to our country!
I am so sorry to hear of
I am so sorry to hear of Coach Nick's passing. My daughter has played softball with Marlie for a few years and Coach Nick was always on the field or in the gym, helping out & joking with the girls. He will truly be missed by his softball family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Marlie, family and friends during this difficult time.

Condolences
I met Nick soon after Marlie was born and had the pleasure of working with him for many years. I watched him grow into one of the most loving, dedicated fathers over those years. I spent many long days working with Nick and will never forget how he lit up when he talked about Marlie and showed me pictures of her. It was clear that family was the most important thing to Nick. I always looked forward to working with Nick as I knew I would be doubled over in laughter at some point. His humor and positive attitude were magnetic and something I will never forget. My heart goes out to your entire family.
