I am saddened to read of the passing of Fred Wolfe. I got to know him when I worked at the Daily Local during my college summers. He was always so friendly, and made you laugh. When I found out that he lived not too far from where I grew up, and worked at Bower's store, I would run into him there. He was always a positive person and will be missed. RIP, Fred Wolfe.

Fred was one of the nicest people you would ever want to know. He never said an unkind word about anyone. Always kind. Fred was always positive and had a good outlook no matter what condition he was in. And never complained. He is now with Cindy. We never saw two people more suited for each other. Fred was a joy at every Craft Fair. He was central with the kitchen doing so well financially. We will miss him.

Dear Michelle and Kelly, I am profoundly saddened to learn of your Dad's passing. I met Fred at West Chester State when he lived at Ramsgate Court. He was so much fun! Always a smile and lots of laughter. I was in Zeta Tau Alpha with your mom and was SO happy when Cindy and Fred encountered each other. Both were exraordinarily kind "salt of the earth" people. I remember dancing at their wedding. Jim Croce's "Time in a Bottle" was a special song for them. Both Fred and Cindy are the kind of people who leave footprints on hearts. I am so sad that I am scheduled to be in a weekend seminar and will not be able to greet you both in person. Please know I will be there in spirit. God bless you both and all those you love.  Joy Smith Linton

Hello Friends of Fred,

I had the privilege to work closely with Fred for four years at the Daily Local News. He had so much trouble getting around the office.  When my sister's motorized arm chair was looking for a new home, I found it fit perfectlly with Fred. He could motor around the room doing his work and visiting his co-workers and it fit well at his computer desk.  He had such a good time riding in that chair.  So sorry he is gone from this world.  He was such a good man.  Always socializing with the visitors to the office.  RIP Dear Fred.
