Raymond Bermudez, 44, of Coatesville, died on Friday, March 20, 2015 as a result of an industrial accident at work. Born in Florida, he was the son of Obe Bermudez and the late Victor Bermudez and was also raised by Luz Bermudez Bernal, Santos Ortiz and Romon Rosa.
Raymond lived in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico and moved to this area in 1986.
 He was a member of the Teamsters Local Union #312 and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Coatesville. He was employed by Quad Graphics of Atglen, PA. He was a passionate boxing, MMA and wrestling fan and he was very proud of his culture. Most of all, he was a proud father and dedicated worker. 

He is also survived by three children; Kenneth Bermudez of Kennett Square and Christian and Sierra Bermudez both of Thorndale, and their mother Shannon Bermudez also of Thorndale, one sister YaJaira Ortiz, six brothers; Richard Bermudez, Victor Bermudez, Santo Ortiz, , Juan Ortiz, Omar Ortiz and John Ortiz and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11am from Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W. Second Ave. Parkesburg, Pa. 19365 followed by interment at All Souls Cemetery. Viewing at the church from 9am to the time of the service.

My condolences go out to the Bermudez family. I only work with ray for a short time but, in that period of time I found that he was a likable guy and made me feel welcome there. He will bemissed by all who knew him.

I worked with Ray back in 2006. In a place where people only cared for themselves, you were always willing to lend a helping hand. God Bless you, and yours. You were a good man! Always smiling!

To Ray's family may the love of God gave you peace at this time. So sorry for your loss. But one thing is for sure Ray told me one day that we would be ok and I think he was talking about GOD taking care of all of us.

First and most u is a true brother to me I lost a good brother just can't believe u r gone now how ever I just keep thinking about the good times we had together their were times we argue on dumb shit but with in five min we'll make up I miss them good ass times I'll keep u and your three child my prayers men I' will deeply miss you hopefully u watch over me 1 love my brother ....

To the family of Raymond, you have my deepest sympathy and I’m sure you miss him very much.  May you find a measure of comfort and strength in the promise found in John 5:28-29 which says that all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out to a resurrection of life here on a paradise earth soon to come. Psalm 37:29.  Thinking of the family.

God bless you my cousin/brother from all of your cousins your Tia Norma Bermudez and all of her kids and grandchildren we will greatly miss you you will always be in our heart and remembered and loved by all of us we have all had the pleasure of growing up with you and knowing how much of a great man you are, a great father and a great man who cares of before himself We will always cherish the memories that We had with you your titi Norma cousin pocho, lui, Ralph, Brenda, Mary, kiko, and your nieces and nephews guicho, Elisa, and all the rest of your family in Delaware we all love you Raymond Bermudez aka ultraman1fan vaya con dios Raymond

My sincere condolences goes out to all of Raymond's family friends and co-workers for this tragic loss. I worked there with Ray over 10 years ago for quite a few years but haven't seen him since I left.. I can remember he was pretty much always smiling and calm no.matter how grueling the situation was on the job that day or night. He will be missed by many.
