Annette Lee Hulme, 51, of Coatesville, died on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late James and Naomi Trego Eckman. Annette was employed at the Giant Grocery store in Thorndale in the deli department.
She is survived by four children; Heather Troop of Atglen, Holly Hulme, Thomas Hulme, III, and Thaniel Hulme all of Coatesville, five grandchildren, Bryanna Troop, Max Troop, Derrick Stokes, Haylee Hamilton and Mackenzie Stanley, and three siblings; Roxanne Eckman of Honey Brook, Jesse Eckman of Coatesville, James Eckman, Jr. of Kansas and her ex- husband Thomas Hulme of Selinsgrove, PA.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 7:00 pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E. Marshall, West Chester, PA 19380.

I pray for peace and comfort for the family at this difficult time. I knew Ms. Hulme as a wonderful grandmother to her grandson, Derrick. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

To our famaily in Coatesville we were truly blessed to be able to spend Christmas with Annette and you all before she passed. We will cherish the memories and the look on her face when Jim walked into her house just before Christmas. WE loved her and love you. We wish we could be there with you during this time but are with you in spirit .

My mom was the strongest woman I've ever known. She has made me the person I am now. She was my mom and my best friend...she was nana to her grandchildren, bryanna & max troop, derrick stokes, haylee hamilton and mackenzie stanley, to say she is and will be sorely missed is an understatement...she was a fighter ... a servivor...she had the wackiest sense of humor I've ever come accross...she lived her life by her rules, she accepted everyone for who they were, she never judged...she did the best at everything with what she could...this is the evening before the day of her memorial service, and I am missing her so much it is beyond words... she WILL live on in her children's hearts and grandchildren. to those that she knew and touched with her kindness, thank you so much for your well wishes and help and support thru this very diffficut time. We appreciate it. To those I shall see at her memorial service, thank you for coming in advance, I'am sure it means alot to my mom. We will be having refreshments following the service at the wagontown fire hall thanks to a family friend. So please come and join us as we celebrate the life an amazing woman who I was blessed to have as my mom.

my nana was the funniest person i knew and she always will be.. she will always be on my mind and in my heart... we all loved her very much, i cant explain how much i loved her.... she always gave and hardly ever took!!! it meant a lot to me that i was there at the end and i think it also meant a lot to her to... we never will forget what she taught us.... she will live on forever in our hearts..... thanks to all who are there to support us in this time of a great loss....she was like a second mom to me and i WILL never forget her.... she was one of my best friends, we shared everything together and i will miss hearing her laugh and her very funny jokes... she could joke about everything and was brave and strong her whole life... she never gave up even in the end. she is the stronest woman i ever knew and she will never be forgotten..... i love and miss her very much... but she will always be with me...i know that she is no longer in pain and she is no longer suffering... she is happy now with her mom and her beloved dog woowoo:^) i miss and love u with all my heart nana and i WILL never forget you.... i will always keep my promise we made

Bryanna- i know how much she meant to you, i am so very sorry for your loss. but, think of the bright side at least she is not suffering anymore and will always be watching you. she can now lead you on the right path for a lot of things, all you have to do is listen to your heart to find her voice. just remember all the good times, the good laughs and best of all her love and smile she shared with everyone. i know i only met her a couple of times, but right from the beginning i knew that she was a lighted hearted joyful person, with enough space for everyone in her heart. i just want you to know i am sorry for your loss and will always be here if you ever need someone to talk to. i love you like a sister and will always be here to listen, sorry for your loss.

Dear Family and Friends.... We wish with all our hearts that we could be there with you tonight. Please know you are in My prayers as this has been a difficult time for all of you and especially for Jim since he can not be there with you .
