Rebecca Gee, 69, of Denver, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 1 at the Ephrata Community Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Joel B. Gee, Sr.

 
Born in Coatestville on Monday, September 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Charles Fellenbaum and Reba (Lowery) Fellenbaum.
 
She was a 1960 graduate of Scott High School in Coatesville.  
 
She was the owner and operator of Becky Gee's Beauty Salon of Parkesburg for 38 years, retiring in 2003.  
 
Rebecca was survived by two children: Marcella Ann Crammer of Mountville and Joel B. Gee, Jr. of Kinzers; four grandchildren, Amanda Gee, Charlee Gee, Kyle Crammer and Courtney Crammer; and one great granddaughter, Savanna Brown.  
 
The Funeral Service is private at the Bradford Cemetery in Marshallton.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Your Mom was my hairdresser for many years. I remember the last time I saw her was in Gap when I was going into Bravo Pizza.

She was a sweet lady.

I am so sorry to hear about Becky's sudden passing. She did the hair for the majorettes of Octorara High School as well as my hair personally in the 70's. She will be missed by many. My heart goes out to all of you.

Aileen & I extend our utmost sympathy to Joel & family. We shared some great times together & we will always have those memories ! Becky was always a super hostess & provided us a lot of pleasure in those pool parties in Parkesburg. Her favorite Race Car driver was over the hill, but aren't we all !

A friend from church just called me with the news that your wife had suddenly passed away on Sunday. I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear that. I can't imagine the pain, but I hope your family is there with you. You are faithful to come to church so you have your belief in God to help you. I know he will help you through it.

Dear Joel, Joel Jr., and Marcie,
Even when we expect death it still comes as a shock. Only the Mother of Jesus knew He would pass yet she had the hope of His ressurection.

Becky was kind and warm to me in a time when many were not. She will remain as such in my memory of her. Nothing mortal can fill that void yet we continue to persevere. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your whole family. In the Geat Beyond we shall gather to rejoice at the reunion.

Dear Joel and family: So sorry to read this in the newspaper. What a shock! As you remember, we go way back to the Thorndale Methodist Church and our MYF group. Mrs. Fellenbaum was my Sunday School teacher. Becky was the prettiest and nicest girl at TMC. We will miss her but I know we will all have a great reunion in Heaven. Last year we lost my sister, Eileen, in the same way. Our condolences to you and your family. Ruthie and Larry Jackson.

DEAR JOEL AND ALL THE FAMILY,
I HAVE MANY MEMORIES ABOUT BECKY, YOUR DEAR FAMILY MEMBER AS SO DOES MANY OTHER PEOPLE. I DID ENJOY TALKING TO HER AND HAVING A FEW LAUGHS WHEN I WOULD GO EACH WEEK OR SO TO GET MY HAIR STYLED OR JUST BEING THERE MAKING THINGS TIDY EACH WEEK TO HELP HER OUT CLEANING HER HOME. SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED I HAD A SISTER THAT THE LORD TOOK HOME ON APRIL 1, AND IT WAS 18 YEARS AGO THIS YEAR. I THINK THAT IS RATHER SPECIAL BECKY AND LISA GOING HOME TO THE LORD THE SAME DATE 18 YEARS LATER. I KNOW LISA FOOLED US ALL ON THAT DATE EXACTLY 3:00 IN THE AFTERNOON. I CAN TELL YOU THIS WILL BE HARD FOR ALL, MY SISTER WAS 30 YEARS OLD CAUSE OF DEATH (SKIN CANCER). THIS IS SOMETHING HARD TO ACCEPT AND WE KNOW THIS IS PART OF LIVE, DEATH. THE LORD WILL DIRECT YOU THROUGH AND BECKY WILL TO. I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS. I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO MAKE CONTACT WITH BECKY, FOR MONTHS. I HAVE NOT SEEN HER IN YEARS., WE MOVED FROM PARKESBURG IN JUNE 2011, RESIDING IN KINZERS, PA. FOR NOW.
