Ronald F. Sharitz, 84, of East Fallowfield, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Newport Meadows Nursing Home in Christiana, PA. He was the beloved husband of Mary Baxter Sharitz with whom he shared 15 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Frank Trinkle Sharitz and Edna Burkeyheiser Sharitz.
Ron was an area resident all his life. He was employed, for over 20 years, by A. Duie Pyle in West Chester as an auto body shop technician.
He was a member of the Christiana Masonic Lodge #417, the Shriners and the Antique Auto Club of America.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by five children; Mary Beth Cohen (Marty) of Florida, Lois High (Joe) of East Fallowfield, Debbie Rash (Brian) of Gap, Shelly Fisher (Duane) of Gap and Ronald F. Sharitz, Jr. (Jaime) of Riverview, FL, nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and five siblings; Jean Darling of New Providence, Joyce Vaughan of East Fallowfield, Jane Hoffman of Coatesville, Judy Paulson of Christiana, PA and Randy Sharitz of East Fallowfield and three step-daughters. He was preceded in death by two sisters; Shirley Powell and Janet Feaster.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Masonic services will be conducted at 10:45 AM. At the family's request, please come dressed in casual clothing.
