William L. Mattson, Sr., 74, of Landenberg, passed away on Sunday, July 20th at his home. He was the beloved husband of Delores "Sis" Mattson, with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.
Born in Buck Run, Coatesville, he was the son of the late Grace (nee Hilton) and Palmer Mattson. He was employed as a plumber at Crossan Inc from 1989 to 2003.
He is survived by his beloved children: Beth Ann Henson (Donald) of Conway, S.C., Lorrie L. Johnson of Gap, William L. Mattson, Jr. of Conway S.C. and Matthew Mattson of Landenberg, Pa; stepchildren, Sabrinia Barclay of Landenberg and Larry Eller Jr. of Kimberville; nine grandchilden, seven great grandchildren and three step grandchildren; mother-in-law, Joann Pierce of Landenberg, and siblings, Margaret Wyatt of Parkesburg, Fayanne Mattson of Parkesburg and Fred Mattson of Sadsburyville.
He was predeceased by his daughter Debbie Mattson Miller and granddaughter, Nicole Ann Lyons.
The service will be held at the convenience of the family.
