Tina Marie Davidson
Tina Marie Davidson, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at her home in Swatara Township.
Born March 28, 1969 in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Frederick R. Davidson and Melonie E. (Sellers) Smale. Tina grew up in Paradise and worked with her mother and other family members at Sensing Devices in Lancaster and worked at several call centers in the area.
This past year has dealt Tina many painful losses, including the recent passing of William Osborne—father to her beloved children. Despite experiencing the devastating loss of her own father at a young age of twelve, Tina was determined to foster strong familial bonds and care for her loved ones. While their mother worked tirelessly to provide for the family, Tina took on the responsibility of looking after her younger siblings—sometimes taking charge with a firm hand. Every Sunday after their father died, she and her siblings would spend many hours with aunts, uncles, and cousins. This instilled in her a deep understanding of the importance of family unity and taught her children invaluable life lessons; she always reminded them that as long as they stayed together, everything would be okay. Tina's devotion to her family continued as she became a grandmother and cherished every moment doting on her precious granddaughter.
Tina had an unwavering love for animals ever since she was a child surrounded by various pets. In her leisure time, she enjoyed engaging in social media activities and playing games on her phone. She found solace in watching television shows like Dr. Phil, The Walking Dead, Chicago PD and Chicago Med—where she could escape into thrilling storylines. Horror movies and Halloween held a special place in Tina's heart, and she eagerly anticipated the arrival of the spooky season year after year. Additionally, she found joy in listening to country music and indulging in fantasy-based audio books.
Surviving are her children: Kayla M. Gorczycki (and her husband, Wilberto) and William Anthony "Tony" Osborne; her beloved granddaughter: Ofelia Melonie Gorczycki; her brother: Frederick “Ron” Davidson (and his wife, Jill); her sister: Angel A. Davidson; her step-father: Kim Smale; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her precious kitty, Pepe.
A celebration of Tina's remarkable life will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, 357 Octorara Rd., Parkesburg, PA 19365.
In honor of Tina's passion for animals, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter in her name.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg, PA. Online condolences can be posted at www.wildefuneralhome.com
