Sandra Lee Irons, 66, of Thorndale, passed away on Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at the Brandywine Hall of East Bradford Twp.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Raymond S. and Mildred Williams Moore Irons. An area resident her entire life, she was a 1963 graduate of Scott High School.
Sandra was employed in Housekeeping at the Chester County Hospital from 1975 to 2009.
She is survived by two nephews and her close friends Ruth and Walter Bowman. She was preceded in death by her sister Elaine Pugh.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, with a viewing from 10 to 11:00 AM followed by interment in the Hopewell Methodist Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Wilde Funeral Home.

Remembering Sandy!
I wish to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Sandy Irons for her untimely death. Sandy was a sweet girl underneath her rough exterior always had me laughing and you always knew what was on her mind. She was so friendly and would do anything she could for you. Sandy had an infectious laugh and sensitive spirit and at times wore her heart on her sleeve. Even though i haven't spoken to Sandy in years when i went to Wiggins i would see her outside her apartment and we always waved to each other. I personally will miss Sandy's spirit she always made me laugh and remember fond times together when she lived in coatesville when we hung out at the Midway Grille. r.i.p. SANDY I WILL MISS YOU!
