Robert "Cowboy" "Junior" Wilson

Robert "Cowboy" "Junior" Wilson, 69, of Coatesville, passed away on September 13, 2018 at his home.  He was the husband of Dianita Marie Thomas Wilson for 38 years.  

Born in Bishopville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Conell Wilson and Ella Mae Peterson Powers. He also lived in Baltimore Maryland in which, he graduated from Cherry Hill High School in Baltimore. He honorably served in the U. S. Marine Corps, and he also worked at the veterans affairs building in Baltimore for some time.  He worked as the Captain at the Chester County Prison, retiring after 40 years of employment.  He was on the finance committee of the  American Legion and commander for Post 362 Nathan homes of West Chester.  

He is survived in addition to his wife by his son, Robert Conell Wilson, Sr and wife, Chelsea, 4 grandchildren Braydon and Jacob Miller, R.C. Wilson, Jr and Nevaeh Wilson, and siblings Rosetta Franklin, Juliet Green, Donald Wilson and Barbara Ann Peterson, and also his brother in law and close friend Bruce Thomas. and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends near and far. He was preceded in death by his brother, Herbert McGee and stepmother Gertrude Wilson.

The Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 29th at 11 AM at The Veteran Administration Chapel, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd, Building 72, Coatesville, PA 19320, with a visitation from 10 until 11 AM.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wilde Funeral Home to help offset the cost of the funeral.
