Condolences
I am sad to read this
I am very sad to read that Dick has passed away. He was a good neighbor for many, many years. He always sent food over to me and my entire family when he was cooking big pots of delicious food. He invited my children over when they were having crabs. He was a good neighbor and his kindness did not go unnoticed. May he rest in peace.

Dick was my brother in law he will be missed dearly. He was a kind man, he would give you the shirt off his back. He was a man of few words and had a lot of patience with people . He had the strongest will to live of all the people I know. He was loved by many.

To Darlene and all of Dick's extended family I wish to express my sincere condolences and sadness of his passing. I know how much he was loved and I am sure he was missed even before he left. I can honestly say I have never met anyone as strong as Dick. With all he went through he always had a kind word to say to me. I am glad he is no longer suffering and struggling but his absence will be felt in this family! God Bless You All!

Such a Kind Soul
Dick Porter was such a great man who was such a good friend to my family. So passionate about others and loved to talk. I would go to Aunt Jennies with my uncle and dick would always go too and we all would sit there for hours and tell stories. I didn't know him well but he was so nice to me and is truly gonna be missed by many.
