Richard J. Nuse, Sr., 70, of Coatesville passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Neighborhood Hospice Center in West Chester.  He was the beloved husband of Rebecca Ash Nuse, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.
 
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late James C. and Lillian Nuse.  He was employed by Lukens Steel Co. for 37 years as a Turn Foreman  
 
He was a member of the Brandywine Goddard Masonic Lodge of F.&A.M., #383 of Coatesville, the Reading Consistory, the West End Fire Co. and the American Legion of DE. 
 
He is survived, in addition to wife, by three children: Richard J. Nuse, Jr., husband of Della, of Morgantown, Vicki L. Montonya, wife of James, of Montrose, Pa., and James Chester Nuse, husband of Kendra, of Birdsboro, Pa.; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and his brother, Frank Nuse.
 
He was predeceased by his brother Robert Nuse.
 
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by internment in the Fairview Cemetery of Coatesville.  Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 10 until 11 AM.  
 
Donations may be made to the Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E. Marshall, West Chester, PA 19380.

Becky - I am deeply saddened to hear about Dick. What a GREAT guy he was. The way he told a story always kept me laughing my butt off!! I also enjoyed going to the golf course with him. I always looked forward to coming to Florida every year to sit down and shoot the bull with him. Hope you are doing well and I have you in my thoughts. Love you and miss you!!!!
