Condolences

When I think of Jim, I remember the time that we rode our motorcycle out to Florida for my parents 50th wedding Anniversary and at the reception Jim was looking at the bike. All of the sudden he grabs my helmet and puts it on and jumps on the bike and started making the motor noise from the bike. I look up at him and he’s got my helmet on backwards. We both laughed all night about that. I can’t believe he’s really gone. Every time we’d come for a visit, he always made sure he’d see us. I always looked forward to his smile and hugs and him saying “ Hey Aunt Kim, it sure is good to see ya “. Rest in Piece Jim, you are missed by all.

We moved beside the Riehls when I was 8, Jimmy and I were the same age and he had a goat named greedy gut that ate everything but the grass.  Jimmy loved to play Monopoly, we must have played hundred of games of the years and he also loved making bazookas out of orange juice cans and shooting them off. Over the summers we would ride bikes down past Rhoades store and go fishing and he'd come over and shoot pool with my brother, sister and I for hours. Over the winter we would have snowball fights and made snow forts, his were always really cool and mine.... not so cool!  One winter we made 200 snowballs and put in my parents freezer so we could have a snowball fight in July, my dad wasn't impressed and made us take em out.  Memories I will never forget.  Rest in peace Jimmy!   Kathy, Vicki and John Rowe
